Hand in Hand!

I was reminded today how fortunate I am to live in a place where we can be whomever we are.  As I was walking Morgan to school I saw two young men presumably on their way to their school.  They were by all accounts extremely good friends, laughing, and exhibiting a very happy body language.   Upon a closer look these two young gentlemen were holding hands.  Unabashedly, sweetly, honestly, and respectfully holdings hands!

We're so fortunate to live in a place where it doesn't matter who we love or hold hands with, because we are all entitled to live and love openly and respectfully.  We don't have to be concerned about what others think of our expressions of affection in public.  I love that I can walk hand in hand with my son and when he grows up, he can walk hand in hand with whomever he chooses!

I say, well done young men!  Well done on holding hands, whether you're just friends or dating, well done on breaking away from the stereotype that men can't show care and affection for one another...and Thanks!!!   You guys truely made my day  :)

Now for the song that sums it all up and more, plus the new project that they have, With a Little Love.org

God created us all! Unfortunately some folks are bigoted and filled with hate. I applaud you for your open mind and I stand beside you!
