WALTER FRANCIS KENNY Born January 14, 1931, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Marmora, ON on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the age of 80. Father of Ernest, David and Al Kenny of Toronto. He leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Fox, Cody, Caitlin, Justin and 1 great- grandchild Morgan. Survived by his siblings, Rita Griffith, NS, Warren Kenny, ON, Julie Harrity, Emmeline Rioux, Alexina Robichaud and Dave Kenny, all of NB. A private graveside service will held at Christ the King Cemetery in Markham on Thursday, September 15th at 2 p.m. He will be remembered as a Veteran who served in the navy in Korea, a man who could fix anything although his projects didn't always get completed (inside joke), a love of fishing, boats, frosty beverages, Bay of Quinte, Save the Rouge, old cars and finally, Kenny's Keep. Although the last few years have been a struggle for you dad, we 3 boys take comfort in knowing that you are finally at peace. God Bless.
